Introducing my Blog
I recently became a carer to my father who has dementia when my mum, who was his carer, passed away. There were a few reasons I decided to start this blog. Firstly I thought this may be a cathartic way to record my feelings and navigate my grief. Secondly , I thought it would serve as a useful record of what I have tried, what has been successful and what has been unsuccessful as I navigate future challenges. Thirdly, I thought that this may serve as a platform for sharing hints and tips that may help others who are caring for an adult with dementia.
